To our community,
This evening begins the long-awaited summer kickoff weekend. For many, this brings images of barbecues, open pools, and the great outdoors, a lovely, hectic rush.
Yet, for our veteran-founded organization, this weekend carries a more significant, quiet obligation. The profound peace and freedom that make these celebrations possible were secured by the ultimate sacrifice of countless heroes who did not return home. Our team carries the memory of those losses, both nationally and personally.
Our debt to them, and to the spouses and families they left behind is not just thankfulness, but a moment of sincere reflection.
We invite you to participate in the National Moment of Remembrance. Please set a reminder for 3:00 PM local time on Monday. At that designated time, we will collectively pause to recognize their sacrifice.
As you spend this time with friends and family, celebrate the vibrancy of life. But before the weekend winds down, we urge you to join us in this shared moment of quiet. We must never forget that for countless grieving families, every day is a Memorial Day, honoring a lost husband, wife, son, daughter, sibling, or best friend.
