Meharry Medical College and Nashville General Hospital are working together to reshape women’s health care in Middle Tennessee — and we want to hear directly from the women we serve.

We’re hosting three Women’s Health Town Halls to give women an opportunity to share what they want and need from their health care providers. Come meet physicians and health care leaders, learn more about women’s health services and, most importantly, make your voice heard.

The first town hall is THIS SATURDAY, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cal Turner Family Center, 2nd Floor Ballroom.

Additional town halls will be held:
Thursday, Sept. 10 | 5–7 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 22 | 5–7 p.m.

The events are free and open to the public, ages 18 and older.

Thank you, Bordeaux!

We had an incredible time at the Bordeaux BBQ Festival connecting with our neighbors, sharing health resources, and celebrating this amazing community.

From health education and community conversations to meeting new families and reconnecting with familiar faces, we're grateful for everyone who stopped by the Nashville General Hospital booth.

A special thank you to Youth About Business, volunteers, community partners, and our incredible NGH team for making this event such a success. We look forward to continuing to serve and support the Bordeaux community.

A huge thank you to Bridge Builders Program Inc for partnering with us to help local students start the school year prepared for success.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our staff, departments, and community partners, this year's Back-to-School Drive was our biggest yet! Together, we collected more than 7,000 school supply items to support students and families across our community.

Last year, the NGH family donated more than 3,500 items. This year, we more than doubled our impact—a true reflection of the compassion, teamwork, and commitment of everyone who contributed.

To every employee, department, volunteer, and community partner who donated, organized, and supported this effort—thank you. Your generosity will help thousands of students begin the school year with confidence and the supplies they need to succeed.

Celebrating 2 Years of NHDI!

For the past two years, our dedicated team has remained committed to delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services and compassionate care to patients across Middle Tennessee.

In just two years, we've achieved incredible milestones, including:

• Performing more than 2,000 diagnostic procedures in 2025 and continuing to see strong growth this year.
• Expanding access to preventive care through our new Wellness Imaging services, including CT Cardiac Calcium Scoring, Whole Body MRI, and Low-Dose CT Lung Screening.
• Continuing our partnership with TN Breast while preparing to launch a new collaboration with TN Lung to further improve access to early detection services.
• Hosting monthly TN Breast events to provide lifesaving breast cancer screenings and education to our community.

These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication of our incredible team, the trust of our patients, and the support of our community!
