STEMS EMS and Warren County EMS continue to train together in unison to deliver the highest level of pediatric care. This ongoing collaboration brings our crews side-by-side for specialized Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training. By practicing these critical, lifesaving skills together, we ensure our teams are perfectly synchronized and ready to protect the children in our communities during medical emergencies. Special thank you to Mike Carlton who stopped by, who allows training like this to take place. We look forward to further training at STEMS Warren Station. Also a special thank you to our instructor David Lockhart.

Saint Thomas EMS supported game-day operations at the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

Our crews were on site throughout the event helping ensure a safe experience for players, staff, and fans.

We also had the opportunity to grab a photo with Doug from Liberty Mutual and Dr. Bruno, our Saint Thomas EMS Medical Director and emergency room physician.

Thanksgiving looks a little different for our team. Some of us are around the table with family, and some are out on the road taking care of our community. We’re grateful for every person who wears this uniform and for the families who support them.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Vanderbilt LifeFlight team after the recent incident. We stand with our fellow EMS professionals during this difficult time and wish healing and comfort to everyone affected.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is deeply saddened to confirm that a Vanderbilt LifeFlight helicopter was involved in an accident this afternoon in Wilson County, TN. Three crew members were on board. Tragically, one crew member lost their life, and two others are in critical condition and receiving care at Vanderbilt University Hospital. No patient was on board at the time of the incident.

Our hearts and deepest sympathies are with our Vanderbilt LifeFlight colleagues, their families, and loved ones during this difficult time.
