We are a fifteen bed adult foster care home. We take pride in our clean and welcoming environment. And strive to make anyone who enters feel at home.

It is a fifteen bed facility with several excellent care givers. The Flower House is know for its country at home feeling, home cooked meals, and magnificent care. This is a family owned business with a special family touch. The Flower House helps their

residents with all aspects of their personal needs like dressing, bathing, toileting, feeding, and more. The residents receive ongoing nursing assessments, they have the opportunity to connect with visiting physicians, a podiatrist, and an optometrist that come to the home. Visitors are welcome anytime. At SJ Flower House, we strive to be more than just a place to live. We want our residents and their families to have the comfort of knowing that their needs can be met in one familiar place, surrounded by people they know and trust.

From everyday assistance and personal care to the little things that make someone feel like themselves — including getting their hair done right here at home 💇‍♀️💇‍♂️ — we work hard to make life comfortable, enjoyable, and as convenient as possible.

As needs change, we can also coordinate with outside healthcare and hospice providers, allowing residents to receive additional services while remaining in the home they’ve grown comfortable in, when appropriate.

🌸 SJ Flower House Assisted Living is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a part-time basis.

Position Details:
✅ Part-Time
✅ 12-Hour Shifts
✅ Open Availability Preferred
✅ Opportunity to grow with our expanding team

Responsibilities Include:
✔ Resident assessments and monitoring
✔ Medication management and oversight
✔ Physician communication and coordination of care
✔ Staff supervision, leadership, and training
✔ Documentation and compliance assistance
✔ Helping ensure the highest quality of care for our residents

What We’re Looking For:
• Current Michigan LPN or RN license
• Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and support a caregiving team
• Experience managing staff, promoting accountability, and maintaining a positive team culture
• Open availability and flexibility to assist with scheduling needs
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, dementia care, or geriatrics preferred
