For Dr. Byron Haitas, interventional cardiology and TriStar Centennial Medical Center have been connected from the very beginning. ❤️

Dr. Haitas joined Centennial in January 1993. When asked when he knew this was where he belonged, his answer was simple: “Probably the day I started.”

More than three decades later, he continues to care for patients as an interventional cardiologist, working alongside our cardiac catheterization lab team to provide specialized heart care and advanced cardiovascular treatment.

What has kept him at Centennial all these years? The people, the history and the way he was welcomed from day one. “I never thought of going anywhere else.”

Welcome to the team Dr. Ryan Keane, Dr. Bibin Varghese, and Dr. Felix Berglund!

We are pleased to welcome three new cardiologists to the team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center.

Dr. Ryan Keane completed advanced fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and critical care medicine at Cleveland Clinic. He is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Bibin Varghese joins us as a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist following fellowship training at Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Felix Berglund is a general cardiologist who completed fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic and is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

When chest tightness and difficulty breathing led Ty to the emergency room at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, the team recognized severe heart failure. They worked to stabilize and arrange air transport to TriStar Centennial Medical Center for advanced cardiac treatment.

Today, he's back in the gym, spending time with his family and living life supported by a heart pump. His story reflects more than lifesaving technology - it shows the difference that coordinated care, clear communication and compassionate relationships can make for patients and their loved ones.
