Companion AI apps are becoming more common among children and teens, offering simulated friendship, emotional support, roleplay, and even romantic relationships.

Caregivers should know which apps their child is using, talk openly about the difference between artificial and human connection, and remind them that AI should never replace support from safe adults, friends, or professionals.

We're excited to partner with Childhelp to offer Speak Up Be Safe®, an evidence-based prevention program that empowers children and teens with the knowledge and skills to recognize unsafe situations, identify trusted adults, and speak up when they need help!

Designed for students from Pre-K through 12th grade, this program helps build confidence, strengthen personal safety skills, and support healthy relationships.

It's International Self-Care Day! 💙

As helping professionals, caregivers, and community members, caring for yourself is part of caring for others. Today, make time for whatever helps you feel restored, recharged, and rested. You deserve the same care and compassion you give to others every day.

We are so grateful to the community partners who showed up to share resources and support our families. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success! 🌟

AI is becoming a regular part of many children's lives, making it more important than ever for adults to understand how it's being used. Just like any app or online platform, AI comes with both opportunities and risks. By learning about these tools, setting clear expectations, and keeping conversations open, we can help children use AI safely and responsibly.

Our Clinical Team recently led a CPIT training, providing valuable insight into supporting children and families impacted by trauma. Attendees learned about how children respond to traumatic experiences, the therapeutic approaches our clinicians use, the principles of trauma-informed care, and practical self-care strategies for professionals.

Thank you to our Clinical Team for sharing their expertise and helping strengthen trauma-informed services throughout our community! 💙
