In recognition of National Nonprofit Day, TriStar Centennial Medical Center is celebrating a partnership that shows how caring for patients can take many forms. 💙

Each week, our partners at Musicians On Call bring live music directly to our patients, along with monthly performances in our Garden Court that create moments of connection and joy for patients, visitors and colleagues.

During a recent visit, nurse practitioner Jaime had an especially meaningful opportunity to experience that impact when her sister, Abigail Rose, performed.

“Holistically, as a nurse, I think about the patient — the spirit, the physical aspect of it, all of it,” Jaime shared. “Music and creating joy for them has just been such a special experience to witness.”

Jaime cares for patients through her work as a caregiver. Abigail serves them through music. Together, their story reflects the many ways we can contribute to a patient-centered experience and care for the whole person.

We’re grateful for partners like Musicians on Call and for everyone who shares their talents in service of our patients and community.

In critical care, caring for a patient can also mean caring for the people who know them best. 💙

For Macy, RN, that means making sure patients and their loved ones feel seen and supported throughout their care journey at TriStar Centennial Medical Center.

Family members can offer valuable insight, especially when a patient can’t speak for themselves. By listening to their perspectives and learning more about the person behind the patient, Macy helps families remain an important part of the care experience.

“You do the same thing that you would for your family member or your friends,” Macy said. “You show up every day.”

For Macy, that’s what it means to .

For Travis, RN, caring for patients means being there when they need it most. 💙

“Being able to help people in their most vulnerable moments is an honorable thing,” said Travis, a registered nurse at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. “Being a big part of their care and helping make things happen throughout their day is definitely my favorite part.”

On 6 Tower, Travis works alongside nurses and other care team members to coordinate care, answer questions, respond to changes and support patients throughout their recovery.

One of the most rewarding moments? Seeing a patient begin to feel like themselves again — and knowing they’re ready to head home.

We’re grateful for Travis and all of our registered nurses who make a difference for our patients every day.

Two generations. One commitment to care. 💙

This , we’re celebrating Rob and his daughter, Ayanna, whose bond extends from home to the halls of TriStar Centennial Medical Center.

Rob cares for patients in our intensive care unit, while Ayanna works on our cardiac unit and continues her nursing education at Galen College of Nursing, where she plans to graduate in October.

For Ayanna, having a nurse for a dad means learning doesn’t stop when a shift ends. Whether she’s bringing Rob a rhythm strip, asking about critical care or talking through what she’s learning in school, she has a trusted mentor close by. For Rob, those conversations are a chance to share his experience and help his daughter continue building her clinical knowledge.

At TriStar Centennial, we believe excellent people make excellence happen. Today, we’re proud to celebrate this father-daughter duo as they grow their nursing careers side by side and bring their shared commitment to the patients they care for.

Sharing some Friday joy. 💜

Our hearts were so full as we welcomed more than 300 former NICU patients and their families back to TriStar Centennial Medical Center for our annual NICU Reunion last Sunday.

This cherished tradition is one of the most meaningful days of our year. It gives our nurses, physicians, and care teams the chance to reconnect with some of our tiniest patients—now growing, thriving children—and celebrate the incredible strength, resilience, and love of the families we have the privilege to serve.

From live music by Musicians On Call to face painting, magicians, balloon artists, bounce houses, and fun Lilo & Stitch-themed photo opportunities, the day was filled with laughter, hugs, and unforgettable memories.

Watching these little ones run, play, and smile is the greatest reminder of why we do what we do. Caring for them is more than our calling—we care like family.

To every NICU graduate and every family who joined us: thank you for letting us be part of your story. We loved seeing you and celebrating how far you've come.

Happy Thursday... or as we like to call it, Minnie Day! 🐾💙

Some of the best moments at TriStar Centennial Medical Center come with four paws and a wagging tail.
Our beloved hospital mascot, Minnie Pearl, has a special way of bringing smiles to colleagues across the hospital. Whether she's stopping by for a quick visit, posing for a photo, or simply offering a comforting presence during a busy day, Minnie creates meaningful moments of connection that brighten our workplace.

Every day, our colleagues show up to care for others. Minnie reminds us how important it is to pause, share a smile, and care for one another, too. We're grateful for the joy, comfort, and happiness Minnie Pearl brings to our TriStar Centennial family. 💙
