This week we’re excited to celebrate 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐭, our Surgery Scheduler and an Aesthetician at The Lett Center, on 20 years of service! 🎉

Kristi shares, “I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be at The Lett Center for 20 years. It is truly a passion that came to life all those years ago. We have been able to build something that matters to so many, whether it's aesthetic, reconstructive, or medispa related. I know we have impacted this community for the better. We have served countless patients impacted by cancer, and to see their lives enriched through reconstructive surgery is a real gift. Our mission has always been to do the work that God has called us to do, and to do it to the best of our abilities. This is my why. The reason for my longevity here at The Lett Center has been to remain steadfast in the adage that no one truly cares how much you know, until they know how much you care. Our purpose is to serve people through personalized care and always operating with integrity. And, I have been privileged to work where that is always at our core.”

Tennessee Oncology’s third Family Fun Day of the year saw hundreds of team members and their families in East Tennessee join together to watch a Knoxville Smokies game against the Birmingham Barons!

This marks our third Family Fun Day across the Volunteer State as we celebrate 50 years of caring for patients in Tennessee and North Georgia. Thank you to the Smokies for an amazing evening!

Please join us in welcoming 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐚 to our team of radiation oncologists here at Tennessee Oncology! He will care for patients in Tullahoma, joining the team at our new facility set to open in August.

Dr. Camarata is board certified in radiation oncology. A veteran of the United States Navy, he completed his medical degree at Vanderbilt University and completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta. He also completed a pair of master’s degrees at the Naval War College and the Naval Postgraduate School, while also completing his medical internship at the Naval Medical Center.

Monday marks an exciting day for our Chattanooga – Downtown team with the unveiling of a newly renovated lobby and the start of the next phase of construction on the second and third floors.

As part of a carefully planned two-year expansion, the project will nearly double the size of the clinic while allowing patients to continue receiving care without interruption. The renovation includes:

🔹 Expanding patient check-in and check-out areas
🔹 Doubling the infusion room space
🔹 Tripling the exam and new patient consult rooms
🔹 Increasing the laboratory, pharmacy, and research pharmacy areas
🔹 Adding an administrative suite

The renovation reflects Tennessee Oncology's long-term commitment to the Chattanooga community and will provide patients, caregivers, and staff with a significantly expanded and modernized facility designed to support continued growth, enhance the patient experience, and increase access to high-quality cancer care for years to come.

A shoutout to June's Team Member Spotlight: 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐄𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧, the operations manager at our Elliston Place Plaza Center for Blood Cancers! 🎉

Brandy says, "I was born and raised in Tennessee, my hometown is about 20 miles west of Nashville and will always remain home to me. I have two spunky little girls and three adult children, and they keep me happily busy - because family is, and always will be, my favorite hobby! I am the Operations Manager of our Center for Blood Cancers and have happily spent my 18 years career with just this clinic. I’ve enjoyed being part of a team that is truly committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients. My time here has strengthened my leadership skills, expanded my knowledge of healthcare operations, and reinforced the importance of teamwork in achieving the best outcomes for our patients."

Shanna shares, “Caring for cancer patients over the last 20 years of my career has been very rewarding. I have seen a lot of changes over the years, and I am blessed to work with some of the best doctors and coworkers. We have a very special patient population that deserves the best! I can only hope that our patients know what a true blessing each and every one of them are.”
