Smith Training and Consulting along with Nash Community College will be offering a Driver/Operator Pumps Intro/Basic Ops Class at Nashville Fire Department Station 2 on the following dates:

Monday - Wednesday, August 3, 4, 5, 2026 and

This week, we wrapped up the second course in the Pumps series: Hydraulics and Water Supply, hosted by the Kill Devil Hills Fire Department.

Throughout the week, students worked through a variety of friction loss problems and gained hands-on experience with rural water supply operations and hydrant evolutions. These skills are critical for ensuring efficient and effective water movement on the fireground.

Great work by all the students for their dedication and effort during the course! 🚒💧
