🌟 Today was a big day for A Greater Love! 🌟

Please join us in congratulating Amber on facilitating her very first Advocacy in Motion (AiM) workshop as a trainer! 👏💙

Advocacy in Motion is a self-advocacy class offered through the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging (DDA) Person-Centered Practices Unit.

The workshop is designed for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to learn how to speak up for themselves, make informed choices, understand their rights, and take an active role in directing their own lives.

One of the things that makes AiM so special is that it is taught by a self-advocate…someone with lived experience who understands the importance of having your voice heard.

We believe person-centered support means more than providing services. It means helping people build the confidence and skills to lead the life they choose.

Amber, we’re so proud of you for taking this next step in empowering others. 💙

As Middle Tennessee continues to recover from Winter Storm Fern, Tyson Foods is deploying its Meals That Matter® Disaster Relief Team to Nashville to provide free, hot meals to those impacted by snow and ice.

🗓️ Saturday, Jan. 31: 12–4 p.m.
🗓️ Sunday, Feb. 1 – Tuesday, Feb. 3: 11 a.m.–4 p.m. daily

Tyson Foods volunteers will be onsite serving meals, with chaplain services also available. The team can serve thousands of meals each day based on community need.

We’re grateful to our partners at Tyson Foods and the TN Poultry Association for supporting our neighbors during this winter weather response.
