First off Go Blue. Also…3D X-rays help us make a thorough diagnosis. Especially for stuff like this involving narrow upper jaws and patients needing expansion.

Impacted central incisors - thankfully rare - but challenging nevertheless. That said, we’d move mountains to make sure these teeth come in properly! This is also why your kids need to see us for an ortho eval when they turn 7.

We ordered a full mouth braces “toothbrush” device. Worth it?

Methinks not. Keep it OG with a manual or electric toothbrush. The key is proper technique for complete plaque removal every time you brush.

Your teeth should be clean and gums healthy. That’s A #1 for a beautiful smile the day your braces come off.

Who doesn’t love a good front tooth gap? Seriously tho - a gap between the front teeth is actually a very common stage of dental development for many kids.
