Meet Holly Sprouse, our Director of Business Development and Community Outreach. Holly has spent eight years working in substance abuse treatment, from Recovery Advocate to Sober Coach to Admissions Coordinator to the leadership role she holds today. She is also more than nine years into her own recovery.

Holly knows what it feels like to reach out for help and hear nothing back. Years ago, when she was searching for treatment herself, she called a center every day and was eventually told, don't call us, we'll call you. That moment left her feeling unseen, and she has built her career around making sure no one else feels that way.

Today she leads a team working to find a path to treatment for every person who calls, regardless of diagnosis or financial situation, through strong community partnerships and genuine care. Outside of work, she spends her time with her children, her family, and her two dogs, and leads a weekly recovery group at her church. Thank you, Holly, for the work you do!

Meet Jon Hansen, part of the operations and administration team at Into Action Recovery Centers. Jon earned his bachelor's degrees with Honors in Finance and Marketing from the University of Houston, and brings a background that spans mortgage securities analysis, trading software development, and operational accounting leadership at one of the largest metal recyclers in Texas.

Jon joined Into Action to support the growth and expansion of our facilities, and he managed the renovation of our new residential treatment center from start to finish. Today he works with our accounting and administration departments to keep information flowing smoothly and reporting on track, work that runs quietly behind the scenes but makes it possible for our clinical teams to focus on care.

Outside of work, Jon spends his time with his wife and daughter.

Recovery takes a whole team, including the people making sure the lights stay on and the doors stay open. We're grateful for Jon and everyone like him working behind the scenes to make it happen.

Addiction rarely shows up by itself.

For a lot of people, it's tangled up with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or PTSD. The combination is called a dual diagnosis, and it's far more common than most families realize. SAMHSA's 2021 National Survey found that about 9.2 million U.S. adults are living with a co-occurring disorder.
