At the Women’s Resource Center, we have the privilege of walking alongside women and families from the earliest days of pregnancy through their child’s third birthday. Whether you need information, encouragement, education, practical resources or simply a caring place to begin, we are here for you.

🌸 Want to serve? There is a place for you at WRC, too. Volunteers help us welcome clients, organize and stock the Little Rose Boutique, assist with special projects and events and extend the care of WRC throughout our community.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

👜💕 A Diaper Bag Filled with More Than Supplies

When a mom becomes a client at the Women’s Resource Center, she receives a brand-new diaper bag — and that’s just the beginning!

Throughout her visits to WRC, she has opportunities to fill her diaper bag with items to help prepare for baby. From newborn necessities to practical supplies, these items are provided at no cost to her.

🌸 Have you recently been a WRC client?
Don’t forget about your diaper bag! Bags are held for three months after your due date. After that time, unclaimed bags and supplies are returned to our shelves so they can bless another mom.

Every baby deserves the healthiest possible start, and every mom deserves encouragement, education, and support.

At the Women's Resource Center, we're honored to walk alongside women from the moment they think they may be pregnant until their child's 3rd birthday.

At the Women's Resource Center, we see the beauty of Psalm 133 lived out every day.

This , the Women's Resource Center is proud to support Northwestern State University's Louisiana Title IV-E Child Welfare Program by donating items to help create its new Child Welfare Simulation Lab.

These donated items will help transform classrooms into realistic home environments where future social workers and child welfare professionals can develop the skills and confidence they'll need to serve children and families with compassion and excellence.

At WRC, we believe caring for families is a community effort. When nonprofits, universities, and community partners invest in one another, everyone benefits. Together, we're preparing tomorrow's professionals while strengthening the support system available to families across our region.

Today we celebrate someone who has made a lasting impact on the Women's Resource Center.

When Jayna Hamilton joined WRC last spring as a senior-level social work intern, we knew she had a heart for serving others. After graduating in May, she continued serving on our staff throughout the summer, bringing compassion, professionalism and excellence to everything she did.

Before beginning graduate school at Louisiana Christian University, Jayna completed one final project that will continue serving our clients and our community for years to come. She completely recreated the WRC Community Resource Guide—better known as the Pink Pages—creating a comprehensive resource that connects individuals and families with valuable services throughout our area.

The Pink Pages will be an incredible tool not only for WRC clients but for our entire community and countless families will benefit from Jayna's dedication for years to come.

Jayna, thank you for investing your talents, your time and your heart into this ministry. We are incredibly grateful for the difference you've made and we can't wait to see how God uses you as you begin this exciting new chapter at Louisiana Christian University. We know you'll continue changing lives wherever He leads you.

💦 Happy National Waterpark Day!

Before backpacks are packed and school bells ring, there's still time to soak up a little summer fun! Whether your family is headed to a waterpark, splash pad, pool or backyard sprinkler, the Women's Resource Center is here to help you make the most of these last days of summer.

Through our classes and services, WRC clients enjoy exclusive access to the Little Rose Boutique, where they can earn swimsuits, goggles, summer clothing and other essentials for their growing family.

As one season comes to a close and another begins, we're here to support families every step of the way—from pregnancy through a child's third birthday.
