It was such a lovely way to start my Sunday!

I hosted my monthly MetroWest Walk & Talk Networking group for health and wellness professionals and small business owners looking for meaningful community, connection, and collaboration.

It was a diverse group including several therapists, coaches, chiropractor, skincare strategist, nurse, reiki healer, and private chef.

I was going to pause these monthly gatherings for the winter, but after the great energy from today’s gathering I am going to continue to offer them for anyone interested in joining me for movement, nature, meaningful connection, and community.

The next one will be Sunday, Nov 22, 8-9:15am at Callahan State Park in Framingham.

Come join the fun and enjoy the movement, nature, connection, and community!

Another amazing 7-week Mindful Mom & Baby Postpartum Support Group has come to a close.

I absolutely love getting to witness the community, connection, and confidence that moms build over these seven weeks together.

Moms often share how they joined feeling anxious, lonely, and unsure if they would even sign up. Sometimes, the things we need most require us to step outside our comfort zone and show up anyway.

And these mamas did! For themselves and their babies.

Over seven weeks, they found a space to get out of the house and show up perfectly imperfectly each week. To have honest conversations and process the emotions, highs and lows, identity shifts, relationship changes, and everything else that comes with becoming a mom and having a baby. Moms get to experience what it feels like to be seen, heard, supported, and feel less alone.

Because having a community to turn to as you navigate early motherhood IS essential, yet can be so hard to find.

Our next group starts October 29, and a few spots remain! And if you aren’t ready to join, all groups through June 2027 are open for registration.

If you are a mom (first or more times) with a pre-crawler or pregnant, this is something worth stopping the scroll for.

Let’s be clear: ALL moms need and deserve support, community, and connection. You don’t have to be struggling to benefit. Yet, the moms who struggle the most, often don’t make it into the room.

Why?

1. ANXIETY & AVOIDANCE

What if I’m late? What if my baby cries and I can’t soothe them? What if my baby gets sick?

Many moms will have these types of thoughts and fears, however, when we avoid situations to manage fear and gain certainty, we reinforce the belief that we can’t handle discomfort or uncertainty, and that catastrophic things will happen if we don’t. Avoidance keeps us stuck in fear, limits us from living our values, and prevents us from building confidence and accessing the support we need.

2. SHAME

Motherhood can bring so much shame and self-doubt in a culture that makes moms feel like they’re never good enough.

Moms may feel ashamed of their struggles, fear judgement and rejection, or worry they won’t belong. So they withdraw, reinforcing their beliefs that they’re the only ones struggling. Meanwhile, they are scrolling through social media leaving them to compare their lowest moments to everyone else’s highlights.

Shame grows in secrecy, silence, and judgment. We release shame when we can show up authentically, feel seen and validated, and realize we’re not alone.

This is the power of our Mindful Mom & Baby Group. Over 7-weeks, moms overcome fears and anxiety, release shame, and build confidence by showing up, moving through discomfort, and learning they can do hard things. They discover they don’t have to let fear dictate their choices and begin mothering with greater confidence, calm, and compassion all while building meaningful friendships and community.

💜 Ready to not let anxiety and fear get in the way of you finding your people and receiving the support you deserve?

Our next Mindful Mom & Baby postpartum support group starts 10/29!

And, all groups through June 2027 are open for enrollment on our website.

The words from moms who have gone through our 7-week Mindful Mom & Baby postpartum support group say it all.

There are plenty of mom meet-ups, casual mom walks, and places and spaces to gather with other moms, but few where moms walk away from and actually feel deeply seen, validated, supported, and held.

Our Mindful Mom & Baby Group offers moms a supportive space where moms can show up exactly as they are. There is no pressure to perform, no fixing, no advice giving, and no pretending you love every second of it and have it all figured out. It’s a place for honest conversations, space to share and process experiences, identity shifts, changing relationships, and the many mixed emotions all moms have, and to feel a sense of connection, validation, and belonging we all need and crave.

I love getting to witness the confidence, connection, and community that moms build over 7-weeks.

All groups through June 2027 are open for enrollment.

Our next 7-week group starts 10/29.
