MetroWest Mediation In the News: Making the Case for Housing Mediation

Mediation keeps families housed, keeps landlords whole, and keeps courts functioning. It is a win-win-win — and in the current fiscal environment, that should mean something.

A new op-ed published in the MetroWest Daily News spotlights the results our MWM team delivers every day at Framingham District Court, resolving an astounding 4 out of every 5 referred eviction cases.

Read the full op-ed and visit our MWM website to learn more about our mediation services and innovative mediator trainings.

We’re excited to share that MetroWest Mediation received a grant from the Sincere Foundation! We’d like to thank Sincere Foundation for recognizing our work to keep community members housed by working out agreements between landlords and tenants to prevent evictions. With this generous grant, Sincere Foundation directly supports our mission and impact in the community.

Sincere Foundation has awarded $250,000 in new grants to twenty organizations that address basic needs in Massachusetts communities. With this most recent round of funding, the Foundation reaches a milestone of $1 million awarded to 56 organizations in its three years of operation. We’re honored to be recognized. Sincere Foundation is made possible by the support of Boston-based technology company Sincere Corporation and its family of brands.
