Imagine fresh, healthy food grown right at your hospital, ready for those who need it most.! 🍅 AHN Allegheny Valley Hospital is harvesting hundreds of pounds of produce annually for their Healthy Food Center. Our Healthy Food Centers, located at six hospitals across AHN’s footprint, provide free, nutritious foods and nutrition counseling to patients facing food insecurity, many of whom also struggle to manage chronic health conditions. This is just another way we’re meeting people where they are and providing them with the support and resources they need.

Big news! The Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute Moonshot initiative is celebrating its fifth anniversary and over 11,000 enrolled patients — a huge milestone in personalized cancer care. 🧬

This program collects blood and tissue samples from newly diagnosed cancer patients across 21 AHN locations, tracking DNA biomarkers to better predict therapy responses and outcomes.
