Please pray for Nurse Penny and her family as her mother experienced a medical emergency last night.
As a result, I will be conducting my telemedicine visits a little differently. If you leave a message before 9am on the nurse line, I will try to arrange a telemedicine appt from me the same day. If you call after 9am, I ask that you give me 24 hrs to set up a call.

I want to personally thank local pharmacists Nick and Paul McMellon and the wonderful staff at Rx Express Pharmacy Of Navarre for making it seamless for me to call in prescriptions no matter where in the world I happen to be. At a time when big box pharmacies are in the news for hiring out of town pharmacists and instructing their employees what to fill and what not to fill, Rx Express has always worked well with all local doctors. They know their community and always go the extra mile for their patients. Nick and Paul, we are so grateful for your service! We could not do our telemedicine appointments without you!
As our office is being renovated this week, all visits are telemedicine only. Please call the office if you need my telemedicine services, and consider using Rx Express for your prescription medicine needs!

New floors are coming along nicely! Remember, while we are remodeling this week, we will still be able to attend to our established patients via telemedicine calls! Just call the office and follow the prompts.

Lots of construction happening today to prepare for the Grand Reopening! Please grant the workers time to build us a better office and enjoy the weekend! Telemedicine appointments will be available once again on Monday, just call us and leave a message saying you would like one! If you require attention over the long weekend, please utilize the fine staff at the Ascension Emergency Room or our good friends at the Baptist Emergency Room near Shrimp Basket.

Lots of improvements on the horizon- our Grand Reopen Sept 9th and our new services will be revealed Sept 14th!

Happy Thursday!
Did you take advantage of our telehealth services today?? I’ve got three calls down, and a few more to go!
Next opportunity to do so will be Monday morning- try it out!
When we start our new practice model in January, this will be part of the routine services we will provide- more interactions that take into account your valuable time, your work schedule, and your needs!
I can’t wait to make our big announcement in a couple weeks!

🚨UNDER CONSTRUCTION 🚨
Starting Thursday August 27th, our office will be closed for some much-needed renovations to coincide with our new services we will be offering. The interior remodeling, including brand new floors, will make it impossible to physically come in.
But we will still be seeing patients via telehealth!

Here’s how this works: EXISTING PATIENTS ONLY
1. Call the office before 11 AM.
2. Either speak to my nurse or press 3 to leave a message for my nurse.
3. She will either assist you or contact me to do a telehealth visit over the phone with you.
4. For calls after 11AM, please allow 24 hrs to respond.
5. Telehealth services will not be available on Fridays, weekends, or Labor Day.

I will also be enjoying a little R&R during this construction period, so thank you for your understanding. It won’t be business as usual, but I can certainly be available if you need me!

We expect renovations to last through Labor Day.
We will have our Sneak Peek at our new look on Wednesday September 9th. You will love all the improvements and upgrades!
