Selected from 12 outstanding Team Members of the Month, Angie exemplifies what it means to be a true team player. For nearly five years, she has brought positivity, dependability, and a team-first attitude to everything she does. In her role supporting Accounts Payable, Angie travels between Morningstar Living and Moravian Manor Communities in Lititz, helping support both campuses while always finding ways to lend a hand wherever needed. Whether assisting coworkers, brightening someone’s day, or stepping in to help solve a challenge, Angie consistently goes above and beyond. Her dedication, kindness, and enthusiasm truly embody The Moments that Matter at Morningstar Living.

Step right up! Our recent Nursing Skills Fair turned into a full blown Carnival of Learning! Team members traveled through each learning station, taking on hands on challenges led by our Ring Master. With cheerful clowns, popcorn sellers, and more fun characters everyone was then encouraged to try their hand at the carnival games. A fun, high energy way to sharpen skills, build confidence, and celebrate the incredible work our nursing team does every day.

Earlier this month, we were proud to host CNA students from Northampton Community College as they completed clinical training at Morningstar Living.

Throughout their time on campus, students had the opportunity to learn alongside our experienced team members, build meaningful connections with residents, and gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive senior living environment.

We're grateful for our partnership with NCC and the opportunity to play a role in preparing the next generation of caregivers. The positive feedback we received from students about their experience with our residents and team members was a wonderful reflection of the compassionate culture that makes Morningstar Living such a special place to learn, work, and grow.

For more than seven years, Cheyrill has demonstrated exceptional compassion, professionalism, and dedication to resident care. From starting her journey as a Personal Care Assistant to becoming an LPN while continuing to pursue her RN degree, her commitment to growth and caring for others continues to inspire those around her. Cheyrill’s kindness, leadership, and uplifting spirit truly embody The Moments that Matter at Morningstar Living.

This week, members of our team had the opportunity to meet with the Northampton Community College LPN class to discuss careers in senior living and life plan communities.

Special thanks to Jessica Mateo - Director of Nursing, Karen Geiger - Personal Care Administrator, Deb Korner - LPN Personal Care Clinical Leader, and Jennifer Kreck - HR Specialist, for sharing their experiences and highlighting what makes nursing in a life plan community unique. From building meaningful relationships with residents to working alongside a supportive care team, students learned about the many rewarding opportunities available in senior living.

It was a pleasure connecting with these future nurses, learning more about their career goals, and sharing the impact they can make in the lives of older adults.

We are grateful for our ongoing partnership with Northampton Community College and the opportunity to engage with the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Congratulations to this outstanding class as they prepare for graduation this August. We wish you all the best as you begin your nursing careers!

✨ June Team Member of the Month – Ronan McColgan ✨

Since joining Morningstar Living in 2024, Ronan has become a valued member of our Dining Services team. He consistently demonstrates leadership, teamwork, and a willingness to step up whenever needed. Ronan is also an active participant in our Personal Care Dining Focus Groups and Action Teams, helping to enhance the dining experience for our residents.

Outside of work, Ronan is a senior at Nazareth High School and will attend the University of South Carolina this fall, where he plans to study business with the goal of earning his MBA and one day starting his own financial advising company. He lives with his mom and twin sister, Lily, who is also a member of our Personal Care Dining team. Fun fact: Ronan is one minute older than Lily! In his free time, he enjoys grilling on his Blackstone, golfing, going to the gym, and spending time with friends.

Ronan, thank you for the leadership, dedication, and positive attitude you bring to Morningstar Living each day. We are so fortunate to have you on our team! 🎉

🌟 Spotlighting Success: Crystal Bobko's Nursing Career Journey 🌟

Crystal Bobko’s journey from CNA to pursuing her LPN is a wonderful example of dedication, perseverance, and passion for caring for others. Since joining Morningstar Living in 2022, Crystal has continued to grow in her nursing career while making a meaningful impact on residents and fellow team members each day.

Crystal shared that she has always wanted to further her career in nursing and recently decided to take the next step toward achieving that goal. She also reflected on the encouragement she’s received along the way, sharing that she’s been consistently told she is capable of going far and has “the spark and the drive to do it.”

Supporting career growth and development is so important to us at Morningstar Living. We’re grateful to be part of our team members’ journeys as they continue learning, growing, and building meaningful careers while making a difference in the lives of our residents every day.

Crystal shared that what she enjoys most about being part of the Morningstar Living team is “seeing the smiling faces of my residents and peers” and feeling heard and supported by her team. Her compassion and determination shine through in everything she does.

Her advice to others considering advancing their nursing career:
“Take the leap. It will be hard, but it will be rewarding.”
