As RN Clinical Coordinator, she is known for her compassion, professionalism, and collaborative approach, helping residents and families feel supported while fostering teamwork and thoughtful, well-coordinated care.

Whether mentoring fellow team members, strengthening processes, or bringing positivity to celebrations and employee appreciation events, Valerie leads with empathy, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to enrich the lives of those around her.

Outside of work, Valerie enjoys spending time with her husband, Charles, and their two children. Thank you, Valerie, for the compassion, leadership, and joy you bring to our community. For nearly four years, Keith has been a valued member of the Morningstar Living family, known for his kindness, dependability, and genuine care for residents. As a Driver in our Transportation Department, Keith consistently goes above and beyond to support residents—not only by providing safe transportation, but by helping them navigate everyday challenges that preserve their comfort, independence, and peace of mind. Whether researching solutions, offering a helping hand, or simply taking the time to listen, Keith's thoughtful approach makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those he serves.

Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife, Karen, at their cabin in upstate New York, where he enjoys canoeing, riding his e-bike, and researching information on the computer. Thank you, Keith, for your nearly four years of compassion, dedication, and exceptional service. Apryl's remarkable dedication is reflected not only in her leadership but also in her 15 years of perfect attendance and the many ways she continues to make a lasting impact. In addition to receiving this year's Professional Excellence Award, she has previously been recognized as Employee of the Year (2012), the Power of Community Award (2014), and the Save Our Planet Award (2017).

Outside of work, Apryl enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially making memories with her loved ones during the holidays. As a valued member of our Safety Committee and now serving as the committee secretary, Heidi leads by example through her reliability, preparedness, and calm leadership. Whether identifying potential safety concerns, guiding others during emergency situations, or promoting safe work practices, Heidi helps create a culture of safety throughout our community.

Heidi's dedication has earned her several Morningstar Living recognitions over the years, including Team Member of the Month in 2009 and 2019, as well as the Customer Service Award in 2011 and 2019. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and values organization and routine. Whether offering a listening ear, brightening someone's day with her kindness, or baking her famous homemade muffins that have become a favorite throughout the community, Michele makes a lasting impact through even the smallest gestures.

We value our ongoing partnership with Northampton Community College and are honored to help prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals by providing meaningful, hands-on learning in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible nursing team for sharing your knowledge, encouragement, and passion for exceptional care. Your mentorship helps shape future caregivers while reflecting the teamwork and compassion that make Morningstar Living such a special place.
