Estradiol patches are currently experiencing availability issues, and while we don’t compound patches, that doesn’t necessarily mean patients are out of options.

It doesn’t mean something is wrong with it.

Commercially manufactured medications undergo extensive stability testing that may support expiration dates measured in years.

Compounded preparations are assigned a Beyond-Use Date based on factors such as the formulation, ingredients, dosage form, available stability information, packaging, storage conditions, and applicable compounding standards.
