Sweet and salty bars were made in the households, and when asked, the residents didn't have any changes to the recipe. They were perfect! A combination of saltiness from crackers, sweetness from chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, topped with melted frosting. 😋

During our Care Growth Sessions, we did an exercise to highlight one of our core values, Teamwork. Groups of six worked together to lower a yardstick, in many instances, the yardstick rose instead of lowered. Working together isn't always easy, but effective communication is necessary to get the job done!

Join us in the front parking lot on August 13 at 10:30 am as we celebrate the arrival of our new Cycling Without Age rickshaw! For the past 9 years, this program has brought joy, fresh air, conversation, and meaningful community connections to our residents. Thanks to the support of our community, we are excited to continue these rides with a beautiful new rickshaw for years to come. Enjoy cake and refreshments as we gather to mark this special occasion.

Caring for a loved one with dementia can be both rewarding and challenging. You don't have to navigate the journey alone. Join us for our Dementia Caregiver Support Group on the 4th Thursday of every month. This welcoming group provides a safe space to share experiences, ask questions, gain valuable resources, and connect with others who understand the unique challenges of caring for someone living with dementia.

Our hearts are with everyone in our community who was impacted by the devastating tornadoes. While we are incredibly grateful that Valley VNA Senior Care and those in our care are safe, we know many of our neighbors are facing difficult days ahead.
