This is me when I was pregnant with my son. The veins in my head would not stop growing and my AVM wouldn’t stop bleeding through my eye lid. The blood would sq**rt and pour out no matter where I was. Onto my food, in my sleep…it didn’t matter. I couldn’t see anymore.

The doctors in Madison WI ended up taking my son at 30 weeks and rushed me into surgery to cut off the top portion of my AVM as there was no other choice at the time. Now I’m left with AVM below my eye and skin grafts and unfinished plastic surgery.

I’m so thankful to finally get my cure on September 24th. I can then move on with life and get plastic surgery and one day, get my eye opened! It’s been 9 years since this picture. ❤️
