🌟🎉 August Employee of the Month: Carla, Dining Services Assistant 🎉🌟

Please join us in congratulating Carla, our August Employee of the Month! 👏💙

Carla has dedicated 11 years to healthcare and has proudly served at Accura for 11 years. Her commitment to our residents and passion for helping others shine through every day. 🍽️😊

❤️ What Carla loves most about her job: "Interacting with the residents and doing the best I can to serve them what they want for food and drinks at mealtime."

Carla originally entered healthcare because she wanted a meaningful way to spend her spare time while helping others. Over the years, she has found that this role is the perfect fit and a rewarding way to make a difference every day. 🌟

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Outside of work, Carla loves spending time with her family, which includes 4 children and 11 grandchildren! She also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes. Her kids and grandkids will quickly tell you that she makes the best pies and pull-apart bread around! 🥧🍞

🏕️ When it's time to relax, Carla enjoys watching TV and, when time allows, going camping. She also enjoys collecting old coins and loves a good comedy or Christmas movie. 🎬🪙🎄

🌴 While she doesn't consider herself much of a traveler, Carla fondly remembers winter vacations in Florida and enjoying the warm sunshine. ☀️

💙 Carla credits her family and supportive coworkers for encouraging her throughout her career. She is most proud of knowing that by doing her job well, she helps make our residents a little happier each day.

🎉🌟 July Employee of the Month: Bailey, C.N.A. 🌟🎉

Please join us in congratulating Bailey, Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.), on being named our July Employee of the Month! 🏆💙

Bailey has been working in healthcare for 3 years and has proudly been part of the Accura family for 3 years. Her favorite part of the job is experiencing the new adventures each day and, most importantly, seeing her residents smile. 😊❤️

When she's not caring for residents, Bailey enjoys golfing ⛳, boating 🚤, camping 🏕️, and watching movies with her family 🎬. Family means everything to her, and outside of work, she is most passionate about being a loving mother and a good person. 💕👩‍👧

Bailey has always loved helping people, and her passion for caregiving has only grown stronger over the years. Inspired by her two aunts who work in healthcare, she was encouraged to become a CNA because of her natural ability to connect with and care for others. 🌟

A few fun facts about Bailey: 🌴 If she could travel anywhere, she'd head to a beautiful beach for the amazing views. 🎥 Her favorite movies are anything starring Adam Sandler. 🐨 Her spirit animal is a koala—super cute but a little aggressive when needed! 👂 Her hidden talents include being able to move her ears and being extremely flexible. ☀️ Her favorite way to recharge after a busy week is taking a shower and relaxing outside on a beautiful day.

One of her most memorable moments at work happened during the COVID pandemic when she was geared up in a gown, goggles, mask, and glasses. As she went to provide resident care, her mask fogged up both her goggles and glasses, leaving her and her coworker Ella with a moment they still laugh about today! 😂😷

Cassie has been working in healthcare for approximately 17 years and has been a valued member of the Accura family for 9 years. Her positive attitude, dedication, and willingness to help make her an essential part of our team. 💙

When she was younger, Cassie dreamed of working with animals 🐶🐱, but quickly realized she couldn't handle the heartbreak that can come with it. Instead, she carries a huge soft spot for animals and spends much of her free time keeping up with her busy family and all of her beloved pets. ❤️🐾

A few fun facts about Cassie: 🍷 Enjoys relaxing with a glass of wine
🐱 Attempts to befriend every stray cat she meets
🧽 Loves tackling tough stains—and even makes her own stain remover!
✨ Enjoys the challenge of bringing stubborn stains back to life
🎵 Recharges after a busy week by cleaning the house while listening to music
🎬 Loves watching a good documentary

When asked about her favorite thing about her job, Cassie says: 💬 "The people I work with!! And that no day is the same in the office!"

And if she could be a spirit animal? 🐈 Without hesitation, she'd choose a house cat—because who wouldn't want a life filled with naps, snacks whenever you please, and plenty of lounging? 😸💤
