Talking about su***de should never be taboo. It shouldn't be censored. The more we normalize honest conversations, the more opportunities we have to help someone before they're in crisis. If you're struggling, tell someone. A friend. A family member. Your therapist. Your doctor.
If you think you may act on those thoughts, have a plan or intent, or can't keep yourself safe, go to your nearest emergency room or call or text 988. You don't have to carry that alone.
Let's replace silence with conversation, shame with compassion, and fear with hope.

Anxiety really said, “I know nothing is happening right now… but have you considered EVERYTHING that could?” 😂

Your brain is trying to protect you. It’s just occasionally doing it with the accuracy of a smoke alarm going off because you made toast.

You didn’t suddenly become “too emotional.” If your mood, anxiety, sleep, or ability to cope changed in your 40s, perimenopause deserves to be part of the conversation. Sometimes it’s depression. Sometimes it’s hormones. Sometimes it’s both. You deserve someone willing to ask why. (PS-I ask why 😜)

Actual questions I’ve been asked.

Depression has a way of convincing people they’re the only one who’s ever felt this way… but they’re not.

If you hear your own thoughts in these questions, I hope one thing sticks with you: you’re not weird, you’re not weak, and you’re definitely not alone. 🤍

I am so grateful to be part of my community, and for how welcomed I have felt, now that I am working close to home! Thank you Neosho Chamber for all of the support you have given me. Our ribbon cutting was a wonderful turnout! I also need to start putting self tanner on my lower extremities as well as upper, according to this video 🤣🤣😍 I’m so excited to be part of Neosho and serving the area.
