Over the past two days, 18 more lives have been saved in choking emergencies across the U.S. and UK. These incidents occurred in schools, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes, and involved a police department. Today, we share LifeVac Save #6634.

A 10-year-old student choked on nachos in his school cafeteria. CPR/First Aid-trained staff immediately responded with back blows and thrusts, but the obstruction would not dislodge. While staff continued choking rescue protocol, someone retrieved the school’s LifeVac. The school custodian used LifeVac and successfully cleared the child’s airway.

We are incredibly thankful that this young student is safe and grateful that his school was prepared with LifeVac when every second mattered.

Over the past two days, 17 lives have been saved in choking emergencies across the U.S., Scotland, Canada, and Australia. Today, we share LifeVac Save #6624, which took place at a restaurant on Long Island, New York. An 81-year-old man choked on lobster, causing a complete airway blockage.

The family shared:

"Two doctors who happened to be in the restaurant tried the Heimlich first and did not dislodge the food. The restaurant was incredibly smart to have your product, LifeVac, in their establishment."

We are incredibly thankful that this gentleman is safe and that the restaurant was prepared with LifeVac when every second matters.

Over the past two days, 9 more lives were saved in choking emergencies. Today, we share LifeVac Save #6604. A 3-year-old boy choked on a piece of sausage while eating breakfast, causing a partial airway blockage. LifeVac was used twice and successfully dislodged the obstruction.

His father shared:

"My son was eating his breakfast and choked on a sausage. My wife yelled out to grab the LifeVac. We used the unit and dislodged a piece of sausage."
We are incredibly thankful this little boy is safe and that his family had LifeVac on hand when they needed it most.

Yesterday, 4 more lives were saved in choking emergencies across the U.S. and Belgium—bringing LifeVac to another INCREDIBLE MILESTONE: 6,600 lives saved worldwide! Today, we share LifeVac Save #6598.

A 2-year-old boy choked on a pacifier, causing a complete airway obstruction. His parent, who works in the medical field and is CPR-certified, immediately followed choking rescue protocol, but the obstruction would not dislodge. LifeVac was then used and successfully removed the pacifier.

His parent shared: "NOTHING was working to dislodge the pacifier. I grabbed our LifeVac, and it didn’t take long at all to remove. We live in the country, so help would have honestly been a little too far away and things could have ended differently. We are so grateful we had ours on hand."

A 40-year-old woman choked on a bagel, causing an airway obstruction. In an incredible moment, her 11-year-old son used LifeVac twice, successfully dislodging the food and saving his mother’s life. She shared:

"This is an absolute lifesaver. My 11-year-old son saved my life with this device."

We are incredibly thankful she is safe and amazed by this young boy who was prepared to act when his mom needed him most.

Today, 8 lives were saved in choking emergencies across the U.S. and Canada. Today, we share LifeVac Save #6584.
An Alabama Fire Department received a call for a 7-year-old boy choking on vomit. When firefighters arrived, the child was unconscious. Three firefighters worked together during the emergency, and LifeVac was used once to help clear the airway.

One of the firefighters shared:
"Without the use of the LifeVac, I believe the outcome could have been much worse. Time is of the essence in these situations."

We are incredibly thankful this young boy is safe and grateful to the firefighters who responded and were prepared with LifeVac when every second mattered.
