Today, 9 lives were saved in choking emergencies across the U.S., Australia, and Germany. Today, we highlight LifeVac Save #6596.
A 40-year-old woman choked on a bagel, causing an airway obstruction. In an incredible moment, her 11-year-old son used LifeVac twice, successfully dislodging the food and saving his mother’s life. She shared:

"This is an absolute lifesaver. My 11-year-old son saved my life with this device."

We are incredibly thankful she is safe and amazed by this young boy who was prepared to act when his mom needed him most.

Today, 8 lives were saved in choking emergencies across the U.S. and Canada. Today, we share LifeVac Save #6584.
An Alabama Fire Department received a call for a 7-year-old boy choking on vomit. When firefighters arrived, the child was unconscious. Three firefighters worked together during the emergency, and LifeVac was used once to help clear the airway.

One of the firefighters shared:
"Without the use of the LifeVac, I believe the outcome could have been much worse. Time is of the essence in these situations."

We are incredibly thankful this young boy is safe and grateful to the firefighters who responded and were prepared with LifeVac when every second mattered.

A 28-year-old male from California choked on dates
A 13-year-old boy at a Kansas middle school choked on Styrofoam
A 79-year-old female choked on a donut
Three more families were given more time together.

Today, LifeVac helped save 5 more lives in choking emergencies. Here are details on these amazing rescues:
A 24-year-old male choked on chicken while driving in the car with his father. He was saved by Rhode Island police officers.
An 81-year-old female in Indiana was saved by a Good Samaritan at a restaurant when she choked on liver and onions.
A 3-year-old girl from California choked on a flower hair clip.
A 2 1/2 year old boy from Arizona choked on a rice ball.
A 10-month-old boy from North Carolina choked on pasta sauce & and a noodle. We are grateful for every life saved and every family who shares their story with us.

Day 2 of the 250 Years of America and 10 Years Saving Lives brought LifeVac Founder, Arthur Lih to the Capitol in Charleston, West Virginia. Along the ride, he was reminded of something that goes far beyond the miles — you never truly know what’s out there until you take the path. The beautiful roads, small towns, and people along the way brought him back to the journey that started LifeVac almost a decade and a half ago. Go down the path. There may just be beauty at the end of it. Can you guess the next stop?

Over the past two days, 10 more lives were saved in choking emergencies. Today, we share LifeVac Save #6565: A 2-year-old boy from Texas choked on a Fruit Roll-Up, causing a complete airway blockage. LifeVac was used once and successfully dislodged the obstruction. His family shared:
"My son was not breathing at all; back blows did nothing. One pump with the LifeVac completely dislodged it and saved his life."

We are so thankful that this precious little boy is safe and back in his family's arms.
