Celebrating the start of fall with EVERYTHING APPLE was a hit for our residents as we played Fall Family Feud and tried many different treats.

We served apple fritters, apple turnovers, 3 different flavored apples with caramel dip, apple c***r donuts, a variety of apple sauces, apple c***r and caramel apple mini donuts.

Everyone's favorite? The mini donuts! Hopefully we can enjoy some fall weather before it gets too cold! 🍎🍂

In addition to our Roll-thru car show and trip to Center Grove Orchard, we had a few more highlights during National Assisted Living Week.

Chris Clark from The Flower Bed held a floral arrangement class, Bristol Hospice brought in caffeinated beverages, and Suncrest Hospice hosted an ice cream social!

To top things off, Central Elementary School sent a group of 1st and 2nd graders to play cards with our tenants. Much love to these kiddos!

As part of National Assisted Living Week, our tenants at Indian Creek Assisted Living visited Center Grove Orchard in Cambridge.

We enjoyed a Hay Ride and a surprise visit with a baby goat. Afterwards we enjoyed Apple Pie and Apple C***r. What better way to spend a beautiful fall day?! 🍎🐐🍂

All smiles from the residents, tenants, staff, and visitors as we listened to live music, enjoyed sundaes and floats and reminisced about the good ol' cars that were on display at our car show. The residents were snapping pictures, got to sit inside one of the cars, and they asked tons of questions of the drivers. We loved every minute of it!

The rain came down, but the float decorations—and the fun—didn’t! 🌧️🎉 Despite Saturday’s weather, Indian Creek Independent and Assisted Living brought the parade to their community with a drive-thru parade route and a free hot dog giveaway. Talk about making the best of a rainy day! 🌭🚗🎊

Thank you B & C Creations and Coordination. for making the float décor to go with our theme "Come see what's cooking!"

The Indian Creek Independent and Assisted Living book club had a mystery of a good time Saturday night! After reading Queens of Crime, our tenants stepped into an interactive mystery dinner theater experience in Des Moines. With great food, plenty of fun and one tenant named a prime suspect, it was an evening full of twists, laughter and mysteries solved! 🕵️‍♀️📚🍽️
