It’s been awhile since we have posted on social media and we think it’s about time we tell you a little history about Brophy Monument Co. and our main guy behind the scenes.
Brophy Monument Company has been serving families since 1888, building a legacy of craftsmanship and care that spans generations.
In 1969 , Mark and Gaye Baldwin purchased the business and proudly continued the Brophy name. Today, that tradition lives on through their son, Mark Baldwin and his wife Penny who took ownership in 2016.
Mark and Penny were both born and raised in Nevada where they also raised their four children. Family has always been at the heart of what they do, which is something that continues today as they enjoy life with their nine grandchildren, who keep them busy with sporting events, school activities, and plenty of special moments.
When he’s not at the monument shop or spending time with family, Mark enjoys bowling with his buddies.
