Sunscreen? 🤔

Most of us never leave the house without our essentials—but sunscreen is the one thing that’s often forgotten.

UV rays don’t take a day off. Whether you’re driving to work, running errands, watching sports, or just walking to your car, those few minutes of sun exposure add up over time. Daily SPF helps protect your skin from:
☀️ Premature aging
☀️ Dark spots and discoloration
☀️ Sunburn
☀️ Skin cancer

Make sunscreen as automatic as grabbing your keys and phone. Your future skin will thank you.

💙 Pro Tip: Keep a bottle by your keys, in your purse, or in your car (just remember to replace it if it gets too hot).

🏊 Chlorine keeps pools clean, but it can leave your skin feeling dry, itchy, and irritated.

If you're spending time in the pool this summer, don't forget these dermatologist-approved tips:

💧 Apply a moisturizer before swimming to support your skin barrier.
🚿 Rinse off with fresh water as soon as you get out.
🧴 Moisturize within a few minutes after showering.
☀️ Wear a broad-spectrum SPF if you're outdoors.

If your skin stays itchy or starts developing a rash, don't ignore it. Our dermatology team can help determine whether it's chlorine irritation, eczema, or another skin condition.

Save this post for your next pool day!

Struggling with unwanted pigmentation or melasma? A consistent skincare routine can make a difference.

✨ Vitamin C helps brighten the skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots by supporting a more even-looking complexion.

✨ Hydroquinone is a dermatologist-recommended ingredient that helps fade existing discoloration by reducing excess pigment production.

✨ Tinted sunscreen is a daily essential. It not only protects against UV rays but also helps shield the skin from visible light, which can worsen melasma and hyperpigmentation.

The key is consistency: treat existing pigment, prevent new pigment from forming, and protect your results every day.

Always consult a skincare professional to determine which products are right for your skin type and concerns.S

✨ July is Melasma & Hyperpigmentation Awareness Month! ✨

Dark spots and uneven skin tone can be frustrating, but you don’t have to navigate them alone.

Melasma and hyperpigmentation are common skin concerns that can be triggered by sun exposure, hormones, inflammation, acne, and even heat. The good news? There are effective treatment options that can help improve your skin’s appearance.

Depending on your skin and goals, treatment may include:
☀️ Daily medical-grade sunscreen
🧴 Prescription topical medications
✨ Chemical peels
💡 BBL (BroadBand Light) treatments*
🖊️ Microneedling with SkinPen*
🍊 Medical-grade skincare, including Vitamin C and pigment-correcting products

Every person’s skin is unique, which is why a customized treatment plan is the key to achieving the best results.

This July, take the first step toward brighter, more even-toned skin. Schedule a consultation with our team to discuss the treatment options that are right for you.

💛 Healthy skin starts with expert care.

*Not all treatments are appropriate for every patient. A consultation is recommended to determine the best treatment plan for your skin.

☀️ Acne Awareness Month Feature: EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 ☀️

For individuals managing acne-prone or sensitive skin, selecting an appropriate sunscreen presents a common concern. Traditional sunscreens may induce a heavy or oily sensation, or contribute to breakouts. However, EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 is recognized by dermatology professionals for its efficacy.

✨ Key benefits for acne patients:
✔️ Features a lightweight, oil-free formulation
✔️ Designed to be non-comedogenic, preventing pore blockage
✔️ Enriched with niacinamide to assist in reducing redness and inflammation
✔️ Provides comprehensive broad-spectrum UVA/UVB defense
✔️ Applies smoothly and integrates well with makeup
✔️ Particularly suitable for skin types prone to acne, rosacea, and sensitivity

Informative Note: Ultraviolet radiation from the sun can exacerbate post-acne marks and uneven skin tone, prolonging the visibility of blemishes. Consistent daily application of sunscreen is a crucial component of comprehensive acne management strategies.

Prioritize your skin's protection today to foster a clearer complexion in the future! 💙
