Southern Indiana residents are encouraged to bring their unused prescriptions (Rx) and over-the-counter medications for disposal on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Baptist Health Floyd. There will be a drop-off table set up outside the Emergency Department entrance at the hospital.

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department will assist Baptist Health Floyd employees collecting the unused medications.

This is a simple and important safety measure to reduce prescription drug abuse and dispose of medications in a safe manner.
