The Breakaway Recovery

Today, the women of The BreakAway had the humbling opportunity to paint memorial tombstones honoring the lives of those we have lost to addiction. 🕊️

As we painted each one, we were filled with both sorrow and gratitude—sorrow for every beautiful life lost, and gratitude that, because of recovery, our names are not on those tombstones today.

We get to participate in meaningful moments like this because of organizations that bring awareness, share hope, and remind our community that recovery is possible. Thank you to Project Recovery, Trail of Truth, and everyone working to make a difference.

The BreakAway women will be proud to attend the Moment of Truth on October 24 as we remember those we have lost, honor their lives, and stand together for recovery. 💜
