What an incredible day spent together at our Annual Family Cookout! ❤️ We were so happy to welcome our residents, families, and dedicated staff for an afternoon of delicious food, laughter, music, and wonderful memories. Events like these remind us that The Oaks is more than just a place to live and work — it's a family. 🤗 A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who attended and to all of our amazing staff members who worked so hard to make this event such a success. Your kindness, teamwork, and dedication helped create a fun and memorable experience for everyone. Expanding Wound Care at The Oaks ❤️‍🩹🩹

At The Oaks, we are committed to bringing the latest advancements in wound care to our residents. Our Nursing and Rehabilitation teams recently completed training in Closed Pulse Irrigation (CPI) Wound Therapy, allowing us to provide this advancement treatment option right here in our facility. CPI is designed to help cleanse wounds by delivering a gentle, pressurized flow of solution while simultaneously removing debris and excess fluid. This innovative approach supports the wound healing process and helps promote the best possible outcomes for residents with complex wounds. By investing in ongoing education and advanced clinical skills, our team continues to enhance the quality of care we provide every day. We're proud of our dedicated staff for their commitment to professional growth and to delivering exceptional, evidenced-based care to those we serve.

🇵🇹 Celebrating Portugal Day Together!

Today, our residents and staff came together to celebrate Portugal Day with great food, wonderful memories, and plenty of smiles! 😁 Residents enjoyed making traditional Portuguese Biscoitos, filling the building with the delicious aroma of homemade treats while sharing stories and traditions.

Staff also joined in the celebration by enjoying flavorful Cacoila sandwiches, a beloved Portuguese favorite. 😋

🎉 At our facility, we love creating opportunities to honor the cultures and traditions that are so meaningful to our residents, families, and team members. Thank you to everyone who helped make today's celebration such a special one! Happy Portugal Day! 🇵🇹
