Living with an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) can come with questions, challenges, and new experiences. CarolinaEast Health System is offering a complimentary ICD Education Group designed to provide knowledge, support, and empowerment.

Participants will learn:
🔵Strategies for living confidently with an ICD
🔵Techniques to manage stress and anxiety
🔵Cognitive-behavioral tools to address worry and fear
🔵Ways to build confidence for everyday living

Monthly sessions begin August 27, 2026 at CarolinaEast Cardiopulmonary Rehab, located at the CarolinaEast Heart Center in New Bern.

No referral is needed, and all adults living with an ICD are welcome.

We also celebrated Lisa Quinonez and Stacey Gould for receiving DAISY Award nominations. This recognition reflects the compassion and excellence you bring to your work, and we are so grateful for both of you.
