He’s studying attachment styles… and I’m over here demonstrating mine in real time. 😄

Physical touch isn’t just a preference — for some of us, it’s how we reconnect, regulate, and remember we’re on the same team. Therapy knowledge is great… but couch cuddles still win every time.

Tell us — what’s your love language?

Play isn’t extra—it’s essential.
Shared laughter, light competition, and moments of ease are some of the fastest ways couples rebuild connection and emotional safety.

As therapists, we see it all the time: couples who make room for play communicate better, recover from conflict faster, and feel more bonded over time. You don’t need a grand date or a deep talk every night—sometimes connection looks like sitting across from each other, fully present, and enjoying the moment.

Healthy relationships aren’t built only in hard conversations.
They’re built in moments like this.

Being called “too much” usually means your needs aren’t being met — not that your needs are unreasonable.

Humans are wired for connection, consistency, and emotional responsiveness. When those needs go unanswered, your body reacts with anxiety, frustration, or intensity — not because you’re broken, but because you’re trying to stay connected.

You’re not too much.
You’re responding to too little.

And that deserves attention, not dismissal.

Feeling lonely in your relationship doesn’t mean you picked the wrong person — it means something important isn’t being met.

Loneliness isn’t about a lack of love.
It’s about a lack of emotional responsiveness, attunement, and repair.

You can be committed, loyal, and “doing everything right” — and still feel unseen if your bids for connection don’t land.

That ache isn’t neediness.
It’s your nervous system asking for safety, presence, and care.

Loneliness is not a personal failure.
It’s relational information.

Listen to it.

That’s just how I am” is not authenticity — it’s avoidance dressed up as self-acceptance.

Healthy relationships require growth, accountability, and emotional flexibility. When someone refuses to evolve but expects you to adapt, that’s not stability — that’s stagnation.

You don’t need a partner who’s perfect.
You need one who’s willing.

Willing to reflect.
Willing to repair.
Willing to grow — even when it’s uncomfortable.

If growth feels threatening to your relationship, the problem isn’t growth.

Save this. Sit with it. Share it with someone who needs to hear it.

Snowed in, but definitely not bored ❄️💖

When the ice storm traps you inside, you’ve got two choices:
1️⃣ Stare at the ceiling and doom-scroll
2️⃣ Get creative with connection

We chose option two 😏

This is your reminder that intimacy isn’t about perfection or big plans—it’s about curiosity, playfulness, laughter, and choosing each other even on the most ordinary (or frozen-over) days. Sometimes the best date nights happen right at home, pajamas required.

How do you keep things fun when you’re stuck inside?
