I DECIDED TO LIVE BEAUTIFULLY
I decided to live beautifully. Not because life is perfect or because everything is in its place, but because one day I understood that simply continuing to breathe is reason enough.
๐ฟ I'm no longer thirty or forty years old, but that stopped mattering to me when I understood that to live beautifully you don't need youth, you need awareness.
๐ฟ Living beautifully is waking up and being grateful, even if your body aches a little. It's sipping your coffee slowly, even if it gets cold. It's looking out the window and finding beauty in a cloud, in a bird's song, in the silence.
๐ฟ Living beautifully isn't about having everything, it's about learning to enjoy what you have, without comparing yourself, without rushing, without demanding more from life than it can offer today.
๐ฟ Before, I wanted more things, more certainty, more people. Today I want peace. Today I want moments. Today I want honest conversations and laughter that comes from the depths of my being.
๐ฟ
Today I embrace my wrinkles because they tell my story and my longings, because they remind me of where I come from.
๐ฟ
I've learned that age doesn't take anything away from you; it teaches you. It teaches you to let go, to choose better, to keep what's essential. It teaches you that the small things are enormous: a warm loaf of bread, an old song, a flower growing where no one planted it.
๐ฟ
Today I savor this small moment because I can still feel, remember, love. Because this heart, though mended, keeps beating. And that in itself is a miracle.
๐ฟ
So yes... I decided to live beautifully. With scars, with pauses, with faith. Without haste. Without masks. With gratitude. Because as long as there is life, there will always be reasons.
