We thought we would add a little fun while sharing our love on this endeavor. This year we are giving 1800 local teachers a Valentine card signed by our Lonestar team. ONE card will contain a golden ticket for a local prize package comprised of donations from local businesses!

At 6:50 that evening, a message arrived that stopped time. A grandfather was sharing the kind of news no family should ever have to deliver: six-year-old Juan Antonio Flores had passed away after a tragic accident.

Juan was a bright, curious child whose greatest joy came from something simple — waiting each week to wave at a sanitation worker he considered a hero. In his small reflective vest and oversized hard hat, Juan reminded everyone who saw him that kindness, respect, and human connection still matter.

His life was heartbreakingly short, but his impact was immense.
