One of the key differences between acupuncture and dry needling comes down to depth of training and clinical experience. Dry needling, while a valuable tool, is typically learned in a weekend course. The needle may be the same, but the clinical experience is different.
It's the difference between using one technique vs having an entire toolkit and knowing exactly when to use each tool.
