I went to A&M on a President's Endowed Scholarship. I am so happy that we can pay it forward and endow another scholarship to A&M.

We have one now from my high school (Killeen) and one from Jr's school Vandegrift. Lt. Vandegrift was a true hero that embodies everything it means to be an Aggie... and paid the ultimate sacrifice for his country like so many Aggies before him.

I had the honor of representing my colleagues in medicine on the CBS national evening news. They cut the majority of my interview but I hope I conveyed how all these recent legislative changes are having unintended consequences.

Methotrexate is often used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease and cancer. But it can also be used to terminate nonviable pregnancies.

Coffee consumption during pregnancy was not linked to an increased risk for adverse outcomes, according to a study in the International Journal of Epidemiology.
