Leaders don't have to know everything.

Pretending to have every answer can actually make it harder for people to trust you.

There is strength in saying:

โ€œI don't know yet.โ€

โ€œLet's find out.โ€

โ€œI need to think about that.โ€

โ€œWhat do you see that I might be missing?โ€

You don't lose authority by being honest about what you don't know.

You create room for wisdom, collaboration, and learning.

Proverbs 11:14 - โ€œWhere there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.โ€

Leaders can spend a lot of time waiting.

Waiting for more information.

Waiting for more resources.

Waiting for everyone to agree.

Waiting until the timing feels perfect.

But sometimes leadership means moving forward with what you have.

You may not have every answer.

You may not have complete certainty.

But you can still ask:

โ€œWhat is the next faithful step?โ€

Progress doesn't always begin with clarity about the whole path.

Sometimes it begins with simply taking the next step.

Proverbs 16:9 - โ€œIn their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.โ€
