This Independence Day, we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the strength of community.

At EOSIS, we honor the courage it takes to pursue recovery and the independence that comes with it. Just like our nation’s journey, recovery is built on perseverance, hope, and the belief in a better future.

Today, we celebrate the individuals and families working toward brighter, healthier lives—and the communities that support them every step of the way.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Fourth of July.

When was the last time you truly stopped to appreciate the world around you?

In our busy lives, it's easy to move from one task to the next without noticing the moments of beauty, connection, and meaning that surround us. But what if practicing awe could actually improve your mental health, increase resilience, and help you find greater joy in everyday life?

In his latest article, "AWE: Living Life with Radical Amazement," Tim Walsh explores how cultivating wonder can shift our perspective, reduce stress, and deepen our appreciation for life, even during difficult times.

Take a few minutes to read this inspiring reflection and discover how embracing "radical amazement" can become a powerful part of your wellness journey.

June 26 marks International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking—a time to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and stand together in support of recovery.

At EOSIS, we recognize that substance use disorders impact individuals, families, and communities. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and to creating pathways for healing and hope.

Recovery is possible. Every story matters. And together, we can build stronger, healthier communities—one step at a time.

Growing Our Mission. Expanding Our Impact.

EOSIS is proud to announce the expansion of our national footprint through the acquisition of five Utah-based behavioral health programs: Elevations, Seven Stars, Solstice West, The Approach, and ViewPoint. Together, these programs will operate as EOSIS Utah, while continuing to provide the specialized care and support they are known for.

This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health services and creating new opportunities for healing and hope. While EOSIS Minnesota focuses on substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment for adults, EOSIS Utah provides assessment, stabilization, residential treatment, education, and therapeutic services for adolescents and families facing complex mental health challenges.

United by shared values and a belief that recovery and healing are possible, we are honored to welcome these exceptional teams to the EOSIS family and look forward to serving even more individuals and families in the years ahead.

Join us at the Twin Cities Pride Festival on June 27–28!

Stop by the EOSIS booth in the Recovery backyard area. You can find us on the festival map on the edge of the purple section in booth 8, across the path by the hot pink section, near the pedestrian bridge on the east side of Hennepin/Lyndale. We’re excited to celebrate Pride, connect with our community, and support recovery in an inclusive and welcoming space.

Planning to watch the parade on June 28? Meet us at the EOSIS booth at 10:30 a.m., and we’ll find a great spot to enjoy the parade together. Afterward, we’ll explore the park and continue the celebration.

Whether you stop by for a quick hello or spend the day with us, we’d love to see you there!

July 24 is International Self-Care Day

Self-care isn’t a luxury—it’s essential. Today is a reminder to pause, recharge, and prioritize your well-being in ways that feel meaningful to you. Whether it’s getting outside, connecting with others, practicing mindfulness, or simply taking a moment to breathe, small acts of care can make a big difference.

At EOSIS, we believe that healing and recovery are rooted in caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Taking time for yourself is a powerful step toward living a healthier, more balanced life.

What does self-care look like for you today?

Share Your Story. Inspire Others.

Are you in recovery and looking for a meaningful way to give back? We’re always looking for alumni and members of the recovery community who are willing to share their experience, strength, and hope at EOSIS alumni events or on-site meetings.

Whether your recovery journey is just beginning or spans many years, your story has the power to encourage others and remind people that lasting recovery is possible.

If you’re interested in being a guest speaker at an upcoming EOSIS alumni event or on-site meeting, we’d love to hear from you. Your voice could make a difference in someone else’s journey. Contact our alumni services at 952-843-4149 or email us at [email protected].

Recovery is stronger when we share it together.

On June 19th, EOSIS honors Juneteenth—a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of equality.

Juneteenth marks the moment in 1865 when the last enslaved individuals in the United States learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of justice, healing, and continued progress.

At EOSIS, we recognize that true wellness includes equity, inclusion, and access to care for all. Today, we reflect, we listen, and we stand committed to creating a future where every individual has the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.
