We noticed that there was quite a difference between the May picture of Pike Lake and our current view. The deer provides perspective on just how tall the grass actually is.

The American Goldfinches are beginning to get their Spring color.

The difference a day makes🙂❄️☀️ Notice the 2 sets of tracks leading to and from the tree. Cannot decide if they're both squirrels. The left side tracks look bigger and deeper but we haven't seen rabbits. Do racoons leap like that?

Open and Ready 🙂
We got a little snow over the last 24 hours, as measured by the bird/squirrel/raccoon feeder measuring method. Our flock of Loons on the lake are probably questioning the timing of their return. We know the snow won't stay around long, and we're grateful to have the moisture.
