New research led by Dr. Stefanie Russell found that pregnant patients who had dental appointments scheduled during their prenatal visit were significantly more likely to receive oral health care during pregnancy. The findings also highlight the importance of programs like Rutgers Project ECHO's Dental Care in Pregnancy series which helps healthcare providers better support oral health during pregnancy.
