💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚
Mental health is just as important as physical health, and no one should have to struggle alone. This month is a reminder to check in with yourself, support those around you, and know that help is available. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, substance use challenges, grief, stress, or simply feeling overwhelmed, there are people who care and resources ready to support you.

Maternal mental health matters, during pregnancy and long after birth 🤍
Perinatal mental health conditions affect 1 in 5 women, making them the most common complication of childbirth. These can include depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and more.
Recognizing the signs is an important first step. These experiences are valid and they are treatable.
If you or someone you know may be struggling, support is available:
📞 1-833-TLC-MAMA (National Maternal Mental Health Hotline)
You deserve to feel like yourself again.

Spending time in nature isn’t just relaxing, it actually changes how your brain functions.
Research shows that being in natural environments can:
🌿 Improve attention, focus, and mental clarity
🌊 Reduce stress and lower anxiety
☀️ Boost mood and overall emotional well-being
🌱 Support memory and cognitive functioning
Even small moments count. You don’t need a full hike, just a walk outside, sitting in the sun, or noticing greenery can help reset your mind. Nature gives our brains a break from constant stimulation and allows for what researchers call a “mental reset.”
This Earth Day, take care of the planet and yourself.
Go outside. Breathe deeper. Slow down. 🌍✨

April is Alcohol Awareness Month
Alcohol use disorder (AUD) affects millions of individuals and families each year—but it is often misunderstood. Addiction is not a moral failure, but a chronic, treatable condition influenced by genetics, environment, and life experiences.
This month is about raising awareness, reducing stigma, and reminding people that recovery is possible.
✨ You are not alone
✨ Support is available
✨ Healing can begin at any time
We are here to meet you wherever you are in your journey

April is Stress Awareness Month 🍃
Stress is something we all experience, but when it builds up, it can impact our mental, emotional,
and physical well-being. Learning to recognize your stressors and using grounding techniques
can help you feel more in control and present.
Take a moment today to check in with yourself: what’s been weighing on you lately?
Small steps like deep breathing and grounding exercises can make a big difference

April is National Minority Health Month- a time to recognize that not everyone has the same access to care, support, and resources.
Health disparities don’t happen by chance. They are shaped by systems, barriers, and lived experiences that impact who receives care, and who doesn’t.
In mental health and substance use, these gaps can mean delayed treatment, unmet needs, and preventable outcomes.
But change is possible.
It starts with awareness. It grows through education and accountability. It happens when we choose to listen, advocate, and take action.
Health equity isn’t just a goal—it’s something we all have a responsibility to build.
💬 What does health equity mean to you?
