Damon House is a CARF-accredited holistic and client centered long term care rehabilitation program located in central New Jersey and serving individuals addicted to alcohol and drugs within a safe and healthy living environment. This intensive residential track generally lasts, six (6) to ten (10) months, followed by a Re-entry Phase, and finally, a Pre-grad/Live Out Phase. These longer-term clie
nts completing these phases generally have an eighty to eighty-five percent (80-85%) success rate after their graduation. The second track is the Drug Court program, whereby the clients enter with a specific target date for completion, which has been dictated by the Courts. Each client undergoes the same intensive therapy as the long-term term clients. These clients are then assessed for the next level of care and are then transferred to a Halfway House or in many cases, these clients are ready to go home and continue with an Intensive Outpatient program. In all cases, each client is reassessed from both tracks throughout their treatment experience to determine the appropriate level of care, as each client progresses at a different rate and has specific needs. In doing so, the program has become more client centered.
