🥂 Cheers to great colleagues and great memories!

The ASPA team enjoyed a wonderful evening together at Constitution Yards for a company happy hour filled with good food, plenty of laughs, and great company!

The evening was made even more special as we celebrated and bid a fond farewell to one of our amazing anesthesiologists, Dr. Santi. We are so grateful for the dedication, expertise, friendship, and positive energy she has brought to ASPA over the years.

Dr. Santi, thank you for everything you’ve contributed to our team, our patients, and the ASPA family. You will certainly be missed, and we wish you all the best and continued success in your next chapter! 💙🥂

What an incredible night at Lincoln Financial Field! The ASPA crew traded the OR for the sidelines for a special evening supporting the Eagles Autism Foundation and its mission to advance autism research, awareness, and care.

From amazing field-level experiences and meeting some familiar faces to plenty of laughs and great memories, it was an unforgettable night made even more meaningful by coming together for such an important cause. 💚

We’re proud to support the Eagles Autism Foundation and the incredible work being done to create a more inclusive world for individuals and families impacted by autism.

🎉 Please Join Us in Welcoming Dr. Robert “Bob” Gaiser to ASPA!

ASPA is excited to welcome Robert R. Gaiser, MD, who will be joining our team at ChristianaCare and serving as Residency Program Director for the new Anesthesiology Residency Program.

Dr. Gaiser brings an exceptional career in academic anesthesiology, graduate medical education, and national leadership to Delaware. He joins us from Yale School of Medicine, where he has served as Professor of Anesthesiology and Anesthesiology Residency Program Director. His previous leadership roles include serving as Residency Program Director at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky.

Nationally, Dr. Gaiser has held numerous leadership positions within anesthesiology education and certification, including service with the American Board of Anesthesiology and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). His academic interests include medical education and obstetric anesthesiology.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Gaiser’s experience, leadership, and passion for resident education helping to build the next chapter of anesthesiology education at ChristianaCare.

Today we celebrate an incredible surgeon, leader, mentor, and friend.

After years of dedicated service in the operating room, today marks Dr. Neil Hockstein’s final day performing surgery. While it’s bittersweet to see him leave the OR, we couldn’t be more excited for the next chapter as he becomes Delaware’s first Surgeon General.

Dr. Hockstein has made a lasting impact on countless patients, colleagues, and learners through his unwavering commitment to excellence, compassionate care, and leadership. His presence in the operating room will be deeply missed, but we know the same dedication and vision that made him an exceptional surgeon will now benefit the health and well-being of all Delawareans.

Thank you, Dr. Hockstein, for the lives you’ve touched, the example you’ve set, and the legacy you’ve built. It has been an honor to work alongside you.

Congratulations on this historic and well-deserved appointment. We wish you nothing but success as you embark on this exciting new journey.

You’ll always have a place in the OR family. 💙
