Helping older Pennsylvanians age safely, stay connected, and live independently starts with investing in the right supports.

Through the Wellness Initiative for Senior Education (WISE), older adults gain practical tools for healthy aging, medication safety, and substance misuse prevention.

Made possible through opioid settlement funding secured by Governor Shapiro, WISE is one example of the administration's commitment to supporting older Pennsylvanians.

The recently enacted budget builds on that commitment with a $1 million investment in Aging Our Way, PA, the Pennsylvania Department of Aging's 10-year strategy to strengthen services for older adults.
