💜 On Jordyn's Birthday, We Celebrate Her Life by Announcing a Lasting Legacy 💜

Today would have been Jordyn Seiden's birthday.

To honor her memory, we are proud to announce that the first major recipient of funds raised through the 2 Infinity & Beyond Halloween 5K and the Jordyn Seiden Memorial Fund will be Jawonio

As Jawonio prepares to open its new facility in Valley Cottage, we are honored to share that an Art Therapy Room will be dedicated in Jordyn's honor:

🎨 The Jordyn Seiden Art Therapy Room

Since the 1940s, Jawonio has been transforming lives by supporting individuals and families facing developmental disabilities, behavioral health challenges, and mental illness throughout our community.

For our family, this is far more than a room.

It is a permanent and tangible place where Jordyn's memory will live on, helping children, teens, and adults find healing, self-expression, and hope through art therapy. It represents an opportunity to transform unimaginable loss into something meaningful that will continue helping others for generations to come.

One of the hardest realities of losing someone is wondering how their story will continue. Through this room, Jordyn's story will continue to be written every day by the people who find hope, healing, and support within its walls.

The Jordyn Seiden Art Therapy Room will stand as a lasting tribute not only to Jordyn's memory, but also to the belief that every person deserves compassion, support, and the opportunity to heal.

Every race registration and every donation helps make this vision a reality.

We’re still celebrating all the incredible achievements from this past weekend! 💜

The Women’s Distance Festival was about so much more than crossing a finish line. It was about women showing up for one another, lifting each other up, and proving that together we are stronger.

When we come together, it’s not just a good time—we create real change. We raise critical funds for the Center for Safety & Change, we build friendships, we inspire courage, and we remind one another that no one has to rise alone.

Every step mattered. Every smile mattered. Every volunteer, sponsor, donor, cheerleader, and participant made a difference.

The celebration isn’t over yet… because what we accomplished together deserves to be celebrated for a long time to come.

💜 Together We Rise… because of people like YOU. 💜

Some of the biggest smiles on race day came from the incredible experiences these amazing businesses created—not because they had to, but because they generously donated their time, talents, and hearts.

✨ Becca’s Beautiful Balloons brought color and joy to our race with her beautiful balloon arch creation that made the day and our pictures feel even more magical.

🍧 Snowie of Putnam helped everyone cool down after crossing the finish line with the most refreshing frozen treats—exactly what we all needed after conquering those miles!

📸 Photo Booth Parties gave our participants a chance to capture memories, laughter, and friendships that they’ll treasure long after race day.

🎶 90 East Productions - Frank kept the energy alive all morning long. From the music to the announcements, he created an atmosphere that had everyone smiling and celebrating together.

Your generosity helped turn a race into an unforgettable celebration of strength, community, and hope. Thank you for believing in our mission, for supporting the Center for Safety & Change, and for helping more than 900 women and girls feel celebrated, encouraged, and loved.

Over 900 women came together yesterday, not just to complete a race, but to stand beside one another, lift each other up, and move forward with purpose. 💜
