Autologous fat grafting (AFT) is a technique involving contouring, by way of liposuction, areas of stubborn fat accumulation and then transferring that fat to a different location on the body. Though there may or may not be generous amounts of fat to use for harvesting, the breasts themselves have a limited capacity for receiving fat grafts in one session. ✅ Therefore, this procedure is best suited for patients who are more interested in “targeted fat grafting” to certain areas such as the upper pole of the breasts or the medial cleavage but not necessarily looking for a cup size or more increase in size.
