Jill P. Pacelli, 77, of Clinton, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026.

Jill was born on May 27 in Utica, to J. William and H. Louise Tenbrick, Jr. She attended Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) and retired from National Grid after many years of dedicated service. Jill devoted her life to teaching, training, and mentoring horse owners.

She served for many years in various capacities with the Zone 7 Paint Horse Club and the Empire State Paint Horse Club.

Alongside her husband, Jim, she owned and showed numerous horses to Regional and National titles.

Jill was known for her talent in lunge line, showmanship, and instruction, while Jim specialized in under saddle training. Together, their strengths perfectly complemented one another. Her last special horse was her beloved stallion, Barney.

Jill is survived by her brother, Bob Tenbrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Pacelli; and her parents, William and Louise Tenbrick.

Adam Jacob Slavin, of Rome, the beloved son of Dr. Mark and Linda Slavin, has passed out of this life at age 37, succumbing to the ravages of mental illness and addiction. His brave struggles against his inner demons will forever be an inspiration to those who loved him so dearly. Adam was a sensitive, kind hearted and loving man. His insight, intelligence, wit and humor, as well as his highly evolved culinary skills will be terribly missed by all who knew him.

Adam had received a BS degree (and nearly a Masters) in clinical psychology. At the time of his death, he was employed at Worthington Industries.

Adam's favorite place on this earth was the Fulton Chain of Lakes. The incredible beauty of the Adirondacks will always be a source of comfort for the loved ones Adam has left behind.

Surviving Adam are his mother and father, Linda and Mark Slavin; his brothers, Zachary and Reid; his maternal grandmother, Estelle Hollaender; several aunts and uncles; Lisa Hollaender, Natalie Hollaender, Morton Hollaender (and Patti), Suzanne Tucci (and Gerard), and Dianne Slavin (and Russ Koutrouby); and many cousins.
