Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents, located in New Kent, VA, provides comprehensive medical, residential and psychiatric treatment for children and adolescents challenged by co-occurring medical and behavioral diagnoses. The facility is located on a 98 acre campus between Richmond and Williamsburg, VA. Cumberland offers specialized care for young people with psychiatric emergencies,
chronic illnesses, brain injuries and lifelong illnesses compounded by emotional and/or behavioral problems. Our community based services include a residential treatment program and a group home. Physicians are on the medical staff of Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents, but, with limited exceptions, are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents.
