🌟 Lots of learning, laughter and smiles today! 🌟🤗💙

After morning meeting, we took a walk around our indoor walk track 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ to get some movement in before transitioning into skills! 🏃‍♀️✨ We put our minds 🧠 to work planning next month’s calendar 🗓️, which was a HUGE accomplishment! 🎉👏

We also enjoyed a ride to the store 🛒, while another group listened 👂🏻 and gained knowledge from our 📚 book reading. 📖✨ A creative group used their imaginations 🎨🧠 to make fun magnets! 🧲😍

Hand-eye coordination, color recognition, number recognition and letter recognition made learning FUN! 🤩🔢🔤👏

Then it was time for cooking skills! 🧑‍🍳🍝 We followed step-by-step instructions while preparing spaghetti for lunch and practicing important kitchen safety skills. 🥄🔥🍽️😋

As we wound down the day, we practiced healthy communication, social skills and positive interactions. 🗣️💙🤝

We are EXTREMELY proud of everyone’s participation, effort and willingness to learn today—and every day! 🌟👏🥰 Every little step is a BIG accomplishment! 💪✨

🌟Our DayHab has been filled with lots of learning, growth and FUN inside our✨NEW BUILDING!✨ 🫶🏽🏠

We’ve been working hard on hand-eye coordination, color recognition, organizing, team building and healthy relationship skills! 🎨🧩🤝💙

🧹 Housekeeping skills are always a must! Our consumers practiced dusting, vacuuming and sweeping while working together to keep our new space clean and organized. 🧼✨

🎭 We also had the opportunity to visit the Gallery of Inspirations in Cape Girardeau, where everyone got to build their imaginations and creativity while making their own wire art! 🖼️🎨🧶 What a fun experience! 😍👏

🌟 What an EXCITING week at Family Matters Adult DayHab! 🌟

First off, we exercised our brains 🧠 by answering our questions of the day, including the weather, season and date on the calendar! 📅🌤️

We enjoyed lots of socializing 🗣️, practicing appropriate boundaries, manners, budgeting skills 💰, 🚲 bicycle safety, healthy relationship skills ❤️ and looking out for one another while 🛍️ shopping!

Hand-eye coordination skills 👀🤲, taking turns and teamwork during gameplay 🎮🏆 are always exciting! And of course, housekeeping is a must like always! 🧹✨

We had an AMAZING week, and the participation was truly overwhelming! 🙌💙 Our consumers worked hard on a variety of important life skills while having fun and learning together!

🍳 Cooking safety & recipes
🧹 Housekeeping skills — because keeping our environment clean is always a must!
🎲 Game play & taking turns while visiting our sister centers
💙 Healthy relationship interactions

👀✋ Hand-eye coordination skills through game play
🌈 Grouping and sorting colored objects

We also had the opportunity to go bowling in Kennett and unwind while practicing our manners, patience, and healthy relationship skills during the day! 😀🎳

🚐💙 What an AWESOME way to wrap up the week! 😃 On our trip to Sikeston, we reviewed 🚦road safety and 🚸 traffic signs while practicing safe travel skills along the way.

🛍️💵 Everyone did a fantastic job working on budgeting, 🤝 healthy relationships, 😊 good manners and 🚧 respecting personal boundaries while interacting with peers and the public.

🌟 Another fun-filled day of learning, friendship and skill building at Family Matters Adult DayHab! 🌟

After our morning meeting, everyone stayed busy with meaningful activities! 💙 One group enjoyed a walk for exercise, while another group visited the Conservation Center for Feeding Frenzy, where they learned about different animals and their habitats. 🦉🦎🐍 It was an exciting hands-on learning experience!

We also spent time learning about 🌪️ tornado safety, helping everyone build important emergency preparedness skills. Throughout the day, consumers practiced healthy relationship skills, taking turns, color recognition and counting while playing Hot Potato and UNO. 🎲🃏

Every activity gave opportunities to learn, laugh, encourage one another and build confidence. We are so proud of everyone’s participation and teamwork today! 🤩💚

🌟 Another successful day at Family Matters Adult DayHab New Madrid! 🌟

Today our consumers worked hard on building important life skills! 💙 We focused on 💵 budgeting skills, 🍽️ kitchen safety while preparing lunch, 🔥 fire safety and 🧹 housekeeping to help promote greater independence and confidence in everyday life.

We are so proud of everyone’s participation, positive attitudes and willingness to learn. Every day is another opportunity to grow, build new skills and celebrate success together! 🤝✨

🌟What an amazing day of learning and growth!🌟

This morning we transitioned into an educational session on 🧠 Behavioral Health where everyone was engaged, participated and shared in meaningful discussions! 👏

Next, we worked together on 🧹 housekeeping to help keep our DayHab clean, safe and welcoming for everyone. Teamwork makes a difference! 💙

We also headed out into the community to practice 💵 budgeting skills while strengthening 🤝 healthy social skills, using good manners and respecting personal boundaries in public settings.
