In Chinese Medicine, we are still in Late Summer—a distinct season associated with the Earth element, the Spleen and Stomach, nourishment, and grounding.
This is often a time when the body asks for more steadiness: more regular meals, fewer extremes, a little less rushing, and food that feels supportive rather than chaotic.
Late Summer can be a helpful time to notice:
* Do I feel bloated, heavy, or tired after eating?
* Am I skipping meals and then eating everything at night?
* Am I eating while working, driving, scrolling, or rushing?
* What would help me feel a little more grounded right now?
A few simple supports:
* Eat at more consistent times when you can.
* Choose warm or lightly cooked meals more often.
* Sit down, take a breath, and chew before moving to the next thing.
* Make room for rest without needing to “earn” it.
You do not need an overhaul. Late Summer asks for steadiness, nourishment, and returning to your center.
